Q. Is my company a good candidate for the MLANS Peace of Mind program?
A. Take this quiz to see if you would be a good candidate for the MLANS Peace of Mind:

  1. Is your company is tech-intensive, dependent on your computers to be profitable?
  2. Do your primary assets include: information stored on your computers, programs running on your computers, or processes that are technologically implemented?
  3. Are you strongly dependent on email to conduct business?
  4. If you experienced downtime for an hour or more — even a few minutes — would it seriously affect your productivity?
  5. Are you or your staff losing  productivity by the time you spend managing the network or dealing with various vendors?
  6. Are your IT projects delayed, often for months or years?
  7. Is your company exposed to the risk of losing irreplaceable data?
  8. Are you frustrated with unreliable consultants who take hours to respond, tired of do-it-yourself maintenance, or hamstrung by the limitations of your in-house IT staff?
  9. Would you like to avoid unpleasant surprises through flat-rate billing?

If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” then you are a good candidate for MLANS Peace of Mind.

Our goal is for you to become an enthusiastic reference account and for us to become a trusted advisor to you.

Q. How would flat-rate information technology support benefit me?

A. Flat-rate information technology (IT) support takes the guesswork out of budgeting for this essential service.

No more getting “nickel and dimed.”

With the MLANS Peace of Mind program, you know your exact monthly IT cost in advance and can plan ahead. Your operational expenses are separated from your capital expenses (projects), permitting you to predict cash flow and do long-term strategic planning.  There are no surprises.

Q. When you say that Peace of Mind aligns your interests with mine, what do you mean?

A. The traditional method of pay-as-you-go support model is called “break-fix:” it breaks, we fix it.  It removes all incentive for your IT support consultant to give you maximum uptime.  In other words, the more problems you have, the more money your consultant earns. There are consultants – not MLANS, of course – who may be tempted to take advantage of the situation or use it to camouflage their lack of competence.

The Peace of Mind flat-rate model actually aligns our interests with yours.  Your goal is to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.  Our goal is to keep things running optimally so we don’t have to make unnecessary service calls.

You not only enjoy a predictable monthly cost, you also maximize uptime. MLANS gives you real value, in that your computers change from being become a distraction or a hassle to being a reliable utility and a tool for your everyday work. Our clients view MLANS as a strategic partner and a trusted advisor.

Q. I hate it when vendors don’t get together and solve my problems. Can you help?

A. How many times in the last year have you or your staff had to deal with the vendors for your phone systems, phone or Internet service, computer equipment, network scanners, copiers, faxes, line-of-business application software vendor, web hosting vendor, and so on?

Are you frustrated with their finger pointing or passing the buck? Are you angry about the wasted time?

Were you satisfied with the way things were eventually resolved? Is this an ongoing headache? What is the productivity loss for you and your organization?

Now, imagine having a single point of contact for your entire voice and data network. You would only need to send a single email, or make a quick phone call to open up a trouble ticket, and MLANS would manage the issue to resolution for you, no matter what it is and no matter how many vendors are involved. If a vendor onsite visit is required, we coordinate and schedule that activity. Vendor management is included with our Platinum plan.
